Venga Ventures, LLC develops and manages Freedom Storage Centers and VengaWorks Venture Centers. We are a unique, growth-oriented company with sights on building a portfolio of businesses throughout the northwest and intermountain west. Freedom Storage Centers provide flexible, secure, state-of-the-art self-storage space solutions for residential and business clients. VengaWorks Venture Centers provide flexible places for businesses with turnkey office, technology and other business services for entrepreneurs and other small business people.

Can Do

The Regional Sales Manager must be a self-starter with the skills and enthusiasm for developing and sustaining an elevated customer experience and brand image that is unique from the rest of the industry. The Regional Sales Manager should exhibit and be able to elicit from coworkers the service and sales standards and techniques typical of “Top 100,” national, customer-focused, multi-site retailers.

Thrive
  • Manage site managers and sales and service teams at all Freedom Storage Centers in the region.
  • Manage the region’s profit and loss statement.
  • Devise and oversee or execute sales management and training; best practices; customer service standards and delivery; revenue management; retail operations; team member and customer satisfaction; compliance with all company policies and procedures; and all other aspects of operating a successful region.
  • Serve as the primary human resources manager in the region, recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, reviewing, disciplining and carrying out other human resources functions.
  • Assure that the customer experience meets the company’s expectations as set forth in our brand guide and policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Regional Director of Facilities to assure all sites meet the company’s criteria for maintenance as it relates to the overall customer experience.
  • Communicate with and report to the Chief Operating Officer on regional initiatives and activity.
  • The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, year-round, salaried employee.

Sales Team Member

Job Description

As a Sales Team Member, you will be the face and the voice of the company, servicing the needs of our consumer and business customers. Team Members are trained on all aspects of the industry, the product offering and business operations. This team responds to new customer enquiries, presents the company's products and services and administers retail transactions at our Business Retail Centers. You will also ship products via our shipping services. You will be directly involved in the promotion of an innovative collection of products and services.

The Sales Team Member must exhibit the energy and passion to learn and create value with customers while exhibiting team spirit. Successful Team Members will become an expert on our innovative new business proposition. The Sales Team Member will be adept at multi-tasking, problem solving, and have strong verbal and listening communications skills. The Sales Team Member will navigate through, and toggle between, multiple systems and/or applications in a Windows© computer environment. The Sales Team Member will provide customer service, primarily focused on presenting product value propositions, as well as addressing customer concerns. The Sales Team Member will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain good customer rapport. The Sales Team Member may experience a surge of business with periods of inactivity, and therefore, must maintain a positive mental attitude at all times. During that time, there are tasks to be performed for existing customers or other marketing duties. In addition, the Team Member will be action oriented, work with a passion and feeling of ownership; this position requires that one is able to work in a self-directed fashion yet thrives in a team environment. The Team Member must have an overwhelming desire to be involved in creating a world-class venture while being part of a dynamic and environmentally and community-minded company which is growing at an impressive rate.

From the first day, the Sales Team Member will complete a sales training program which will include on-the-job training and hands-on practical application. The Sales Team Member will take inbound sales calls over the phone, prepare quotes, and close new business. In addition, the Team Member will maintain existing customers’ files and provide customer service throughout the sales and service experience. The Sales Team Member will learn how to qualify and close new sales enquiries, as well as handle our rental truck program customers. The Team Member will be the inquiry and sales point for all marketing programs, including banner campaigns, direct mail, advertisement leads and much more. As new products are added to our product offering, the Sales Team Member will be trained on the new products and regularly call upon existing customers to let them know of new offerings and to provide consistent “customer touch.”

The Sales Team Member is unique from the typical entry-level status in the industry because a higher level of professionalism, interactive communication talents and skilled composure is required. To that end, this is not considered an entry-level position, rather, it is the most important position in our company with regard to the health of our business, and it is the first and last impression that our customer receives.
